Walls of Sound
Screens blink on. Systems power up. A distraught, unnamed woman gathers her surroundings as a brainwashing experiment begins. In an equally undisclosed facility, sterile and industrial, MNTR perform Walls of Sound. Welcome to DEIMOS.
The Wanderer
As Esther Schrier, the main character, undergoes hijacking, a young man sets out to find her. He quickly encounters visions of MNTR on the way, and his world progressively collapses on itself as he is lured to a DEIMOS remote facility. The trap closes in.
Eye Contact
The wanderer explores the somber halls of DEIMOS looking for any trace of Esther. Confronted with his visions, he escapes to a test room, followed by MNTR. Inside the room, a forest simulation guides him to his own initiation ritual. DEIMOS has him.
Divergence
Prior to the events depicted in Walls of Sound and later, an autonomous sorting algorithm at DEIMOS selects the perfect candidate for an experiment program, Infinite Room. Eventually overtaken by a system hack from MNTR, the algorithm manages to find its manchurian candidate: Esther Schrier.
The All-Seeing Eye
Inside the Infinite Room, Esther and the Wanderer are finally reunited. As MNTR performs the song and Esther displays her newfound abilities, DEIMOS takes full control. The Walls of Sound era ends in silent agony, beaming a hole that some may never escape.
